NATURE. ADVENTURE. BELONGING.

A Japanese alpine village.
A place to make your own.

Set amongst the birch and pine forests beside Kamui Ski Links, the masterplan envisions a pedestrian-friendly village that reflects the character of its natural surroundings.

Private mountain homes will sit within a wider resort vision that includes planned hospitality, restaurants, wellness, shops and welcoming places for people to come together.

Japanese-inspired architecture, thoughtful landscaping and a shared village character will help create something more meaningful than a collection of individual properties.

A mountain village that belongs in Hokkaido — and one that its residents will be proud to belong to.

BECOME PART OF THE KAMUI COMMUNITY

More than a mountain village.
A place to belong.

What makes a great mountain destination isn’t just the snow, the scenery or the buildings. It’s the people, friendships and shared experiences that bring everyone together.

At Kamui, we’re creating a welcoming village where owners, families and visitors can share their passion for the mountains and the outdoors.

Imagine neighbours becoming friends, children growing up with adventures to remember, and families returning year after year to a place that feels like home.

From conversations over dinner to stories after an unforgettable day on the mountain, we want Kamui to be somewhere people feel connected — to each other, to the village and to Hokkaido.

A home of your own. A community to call yours.

03 / JAPANESE CHARACTER. INDIVIDUAL EXPRESSION.

Create a home
that’s uniquely yours.

Some people dream of a warm and welcoming family chalet. Others imagine a beautifully designed mountain villa, a peaceful retreat amongst the trees or a place to bring together friends from around the world.

At Kamui, owning residential land offers the opportunity to turn that vision into reality.

Our architectural guidelines encourage homes that complement the surrounding landscape and contribute to the character of the village, while providing scope to create a home around your needs and lifestyle.

04 / NOT JUST A SEASON. A WAY OF LIFE.

Four seasons.
A lifetime of experiences.

Hokkaido is far too special to enjoy for only one season.

In the heart of Hokkaido powder.

Winter brings the magic of powder snow, skiing, snowboarding and unforgettable mountain days. Light, dry snow, open slopes and tree skiing at Kamui Ski Links — evenings around local food and warm fires.

Adjacent to the established Kamui Ski Links

There is always somewhere new to explore, something to discover and another reason to return.

This is the Hokkaido lifestyle — in every season.

WHERE ADVENTURES ARE MADE

Your mountain.
Your adventure.

There’s something special about Kamui.

The light, dry Hokkaido powder. The uncrowded slopes. The forest runs and the freedom of exploring a mountain that still feels authentically Japanese.

Kamui Ski Links is already an established mountain with a gondola, chairlifts and terrain for beginners through to experienced skiers and snowboarders.

For future Kamui Resort residents, the dream is to make that mountain experience part of everyday life — waking up surrounded by snow, heading out for an adventure and returning to the comfort of your own home.

And when the snow disappears, the adventures continue.

NATURE, CULTURE & A SENSE OF PLACE

Hokkaido beyond the mountain.

Approximately 30 minutes by car from central Asahikawa, depending on driving conditions, Kamui offers the best of two worlds.

The space, natural beauty and freedom of a mountain destination, together with the restaurants, shopping, culture and everyday conveniences of one of Hokkaido’s major cities.

Beyond Asahikawa lies an extraordinary region of national parks, forests, farming communities, distinctive local food and authentic Japanese experiences.

Powder & mountain exploration Forests, rivers & seasonal colour Regional produce & food culture Asahikawa & the wider region

Your Kamui home can become the starting point for adventures right across Central and Northern Hokkaido. Asahikawa Airport is around 55 minutes away; travel times are approximate.

Kamui Resort – West Village Land Release - Stage 2

Interest in owning property at Kamui continues to grow, with buyers from Japan and around the world becoming part of the emerging Kamui community.

If you’ve been considering owning a piece of Kamui, now is a great time to start the conversation. Enquiries and expressions of interest for our next release are now welcome.

A Resort with Vision

At Kamui Resort, we’re creating something special — a Japanese alpine village that brings together mountain living, adventure, hospitality and community.

Set within approximately 39 hectares of land beside Kamui Ski Links, our vision is to create a welcoming destination where residents and visitors share unforgettable experiences throughout the seasons.

From thoughtfully designed mountain homes to planned hospitality, wellness and gathering places, everything is being considered as part of a village with its own distinctive character and sense of belonging.

More than a destination to visit, we want Kamui to become a place people are proud to call their own.

The West Village release represents the next chapter in this masterplan — an opportunity to own a piece of Kamui’s future, while enjoying immediate lifestyle benefits today.

Kamui Resort – Development Moving Forward

The next chapter of Kamui Resort is getting closer.

Our Development Approval process is now well advanced, with the project progressing through the final stages with the relevant authorities.

Our focus is increasingly turning towards the commencement of civil infrastructure works and preparing the first residential areas for development.

At the same time, we continue to work with potential hotel and development partners to shape Kamui’s future as a four-season mountain village.

There is still plenty of work ahead, but it is exciting to see the project steadily moving from planning towards delivery.

02

A ski-in/ski-out Japanese Village

Rarely do nature, adventure and culture come together so naturally in one place.

Kamui Resort is your gateway to the Asahikawa region and Northern Hokkaido — a growing destination for international visitors and a distinctive alternative to Hokkaido’s more established resorts.

Set across approximately 39 hectares beside the established Kamui Ski Links, Kamui Resort is being planned as a connected Japanese alpine village, bringing together residential neighbourhoods, mountain adventures, hospitality and places for people to gather.

The planned, pedestrian-friendly village is intended to include hotels, apartments, a Japanese bath house, wellness facilities, restaurants, shops and residential land. Ski access varies by plot, and planned facilities will be delivered in stages.

03

Unrivalled Location

Kamui’s natural setting will serve as the epicentre where guests forge deep connections and a sense of belonging, serving as a vibrant hub from which the spirit of adventure and the rich local culture radiate throughout the expanse of the Northern Hokkaido region.

This idyllic setting promises a truly immersive and captivating experience for guests across all seasons.

The village will buzz with energy as families, friends, and adventurers share the slopes by day and gather around warm fires, local cuisine, and après-ski culture by night. It’s an authentic alpine lifestyle—immersed in nature, yet connected to a vibrant international community.

05

The Lifestyle – Summer

When the snow melts, Kamui Resort transforms into a lush playground of forests, rivers, and green vibrant vistas. Residents and guests embrace amazing road cycling, mountain biking, e-bike tours, hiking, canyoning, and stand-up paddle boarding on the nearby Ishikari River.

Fresh produce from Fukagawa and surrounding farmlands shapes the dining table, while the long days of sunshine invite barbecues, festivals, and family adventures. It’s a season of vitality, where nature and community come alive.
